SMM, February 19—The main equipment for the annual 20,000 mt LFMP cathode material project of Baiyin Times Ruixiang has been mostly installed and is expected to begin trial production in April. Once officially operational, the project will bring a capacity of 20,000 mt and an annual revenue of 1 billion yuan.

This April, the annual 20,000 mt LFMP cathode material project of Baiyin Times Ruixiang will officially begin trial production. As an "upgraded product" of the existing LFP, LFMP will help the company explore new markets. After production starts, it will bring a capacity of 20,000 mt, an annual revenue of 1 billion yuan, and create over 80 new jobs. The 20,000 mt production line for LFMP is a relative upgrade of LFP. LFMP, based on the original LFP, increases the voltage platform, resulting in an overall energy density improvement of approximately 15% to 20%. Compared to before, the overall energy density has increased, and the final product will also lead to an extended driving range.
